SpEAC invites you to attend a Parent Information Session, “Supporting Siblings as They Grow: Meeting the Needs of Brothers and Sisters of People with Developmental Disability” with Cheryl Crick of The Arc of New Jersey Family Institute on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the MHS STAR Center.

The role of a sibling in the life of their brother or sister with an intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) is as complex as it is meaningful. At all ages siblings need information, peer support, and an opportunity to discuss the future. This presentation will explore the sibling experience, common feelings, and how to best support and address the unique needs of siblings. “Typically” developing siblings 13 years of age and older are welcome to attend this presentation with their parent or guardian.

This is a FREE event, but please pre-register at Questions? Email [email protected].
